What People Are Saying Online

Daarej pour Homme Rasasi is getting a lot of love online. YouTuber Dev’s Scents raves about the perfume, saying he’s blown away by the scent, quality, and price. He hasn’t smelled V Pour Homme by Valentino himself, so he can’t compare directly, but he’s impressed with this dupe.

He finds the opening powerful and luxurious and is happy with how it performs. Dev suggests wearing it in spring, winter, and fall, and says it’s perfect for a night out or date night.

On TikTok, Intenseoud is also excited about Daarej. He bought it for $30 and thinks it smells like a much pricier perfume. He describes it as having a sharp, masculine, and fresh opening with a sweet undertone. It lasted on him for 7 to 8 hours!

Reddit user DesiFragranceAddicts also likes Daarej pour Homme. They describe it as a nice oriental scent with sweet, warm spices and vanilla. However, it only lasts 3.5 to 4 hours on them. Despite this, they still think it’s a good dupe.

On Parfumo, the scent gets a solid rating, though the bottle itself scores below a 7.

Finally, Daarej pour Homme Rasasi has a positive review on Fragrantica, with a score of 4.18 out of 5. Most men find it lasts around 6 hours.

Our own experience

We find Daarej to be a typical Middle Eastern scent with a unique mix of cumin, cardamom, and sweet rose, especially noticeable in the opening. As mentioned in the YouTube review, this dupe starts very strong and sweet, almost bubblegum-like.

However, we were a bit let down by its performance. After the powerful opening, it turned into a skin scent for us within an hour. It’s a pleasant skin scent with noticeable vanilla, but the projection didn’t live up to expectations based on online feedback. We can't say much about how similar Daarej is to V Pour Homme since we haven’t smelled the original. According to Fragrantica, they should be quite alike.

This dupe is good for cooler months or a fresh summer evening. Some consider it unisex, but we think it’s more of a men’s scent. It can be worn by both younger and older men, but it’s not your typical everyday fragrance due to its unique mix of notes.

Based on our experience, we’d rate Daarej pour Homme a 7. It could’ve earned an extra point if the projection and performance were better. In terms of presentation, we’re reasonably satisfied. The cap feels a bit cheap, but the bottle and sprayer are solid.

Is Daarej worth it?

Daarej pour Homme is unique with its combination of cumin, rose, and cardamom. Despite the rose, it’s definitely a men’s fragrance. We found the performance to be mediocre; although it starts with a strong opening, it turned into a skin scent after an hour, which was a bit disappointing given the positive reviews online.

The scent is pleasant, but it won’t make our top 10. The price-quality ratio is good if it stays around $20 to $25. If you like sweet Middle Eastern scents, it’s worth a blind buy. If you’re unsure or hesitant, we recommend trying it out first.
